Françoise's 360° career path is internationally oriented, built through positions she held at the Théâtre du Châtelet, the Festival International d'Art Lyrique in Aix-en-Provence, and the Théâtre National de l'Odéon. She also collaborated with Les Arts Florissants, the North Carolina University Orchestra, and the agency IMG Artists.
Always at the intersection of artistic direction and project production, she worked closely with leading stage directors including Patrice Chéreau, Robert Carsen, and Yoshi Oida.
In 2005, together with BBC Radio 3 producer Adam Gatehouse, she co-founded the Festival de Valloires, whose programming brought together artists including Felicity Lott, Nicholas Angelich, and the Quatuor Ebène.
In 2010, she joined the cultural services of the French Embassy in London to establish the Department of Classical and Contemporary Music. She set up the Franco-British fund for contemporary music, Diaphonique, and created the All About Piano! festival in 2012, which over five editions featured more than 120 pianists.
She became the UK correspondent for the Bureau Export, then in late 2016 its Director of Classical and Jazz, before joining the Centre national de la musique in 2020.
Since 2022, she has focused on strategic expertise and international development, co-founding Hyphene in 2023 as an associate producer.

Marine Pierrot Detry is an artist manager specialising in the career management of classical musicians and artists with cross-disciplinary profiles. After ten years working with Reno di Matteo at Anteprima productions, and having founded the Agence Pierrot Detry in 2022, she joined Hyphene in 2023 as an associate producer.
Drawing on solid PR experience gained at institutions such as France Musique, Universal, La Cité de la musique/Salle Pleyel, and the Orchestre de chambre de Paris, she turned to touring from 2012 onwards.
Her career has been shaped by a strong commitment to artist promotion through exhibitions, cross-genre and cross-disciplinary initiatives, and showcases in unusual venues.
Alongside her work as a manager, she has developed a distinctive photography practice, building a sensitive connection with musicians. Her work with images has led her to collaborate regularly with stylist François Hurteau Flamand.

From an artistic family, Elsa Vautrain grew up surrounded by art — film, painting, writing, music, and haute couture were all part of daily life. She earned her diploma in classical guitar and chamber music while completing preparatory classes in literature and humanities.
After studying philosophy, she moved into management, obtaining a chartered accountancy qualification followed by an MBA in cultural management. She was appointed as a patronage delegate for ECE, and as administrator of the Théâtre Marigny, the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord, and the Musée de la Collection Al Thani, alongside her role as artistic director for Durand Salabert Eschig / Universal Music France.
She joined Hyphene in 2023 as an associate producer, supporting artists and organisations with their projects.
In 2015, Elsa Vautrain founded Totem, through which she has provided consulting services to artists and cultural organisations. She joined the Hyphene team in 2024 for management, touring, and artistic consulting missions.
